About Dr. Benjamin Maeck
Dr. Maeck has been practicing internal medicine for 28 years. He was born and raised, and lives with his family in San Francisco. He is known for his personalized approach to medical care, warm personality and expertise.
Dr. Maeck attended undergraduate studies at Middlebury College and received his medical degree from The University of Vermont in 1996. He trained during medical school for three months on Native American Reservations delivering primary care to indigenous peoples.
Dr. Maeck completed his residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center, San Francisco. He was also the Chief Medical Resident following residency. He was Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 2006. He received the Internal Medicine Residents 2009 honor for outstanding teaching and patient care. He opened his private solo practice in 2005. Dr. Maeck is a genuine part of the San Francisco community.
Dr. Maeck has extensive experience as an internal medicine hospitalist and medical consultant, attending physician for inpatient acute rehabilitation patients, inpatient adult and child psychiatry, and has worked in multiple skilled nursing facilities in San Francisco.
